Vermeer would be "NOWHERE" if they had not "Copied" JD's designs. They invented the round baler then went to sleep and let JD pass them up very quickly.

I’m very disappointed in the 604R Premium round baler. I wouldn’t recommend it. Purchased new in May 2024.

I bought 1 of these mowers..I advise anyone else not to. Poor engineering, low dealer and NO factory support.

No esta bien explicado. No se entiende, entre muchas cosas que no se entienden, còmo insertando una ùltima barra se pueda direccionar la broca que esta en el otro extremo de la perforaciòn.

In the standard round balers, Vermeer just couldn’t resist putting the computer in the baler with all the dust , heat and vibration.

wonder how many times the remote dropped signal. also like how the camera cuts before the blade got to the root of the tree lol cool machine for the first 150 hours, they cant take much abuse.

What a great opportunity it was to take an old vermeer terrain leveller and use it for research purposes aswell as the job progresses. To also build a new building to be used for a new purpose could be great for the strategy of the facility. What was the building repurposed for?

That's a lot easier to adjust than the I series!

The sad thing is that Vermeer invented/developed the round baler and then sit on their but and let John Deere pass them up in performance and features that worked like they were sitting still. Finally, after they started "Copying" some of JD designs, they had a better baler. They were reluctant to abandon the "Bottom Drum" design for the vertical bale chamber which JD perfected. Also, Vermeer's first version of "Double Twine arms" was a complete joke. Eventually, they pretty much copied JD's design. Dealer network has always sucked and still does.

I've been doing business with Vermeer Mid-South in Little Rock Arkansas. They are very high-ended customer service. Brandon Karr and the sales person which is Todd Graves. Are the absolute best. They need plaques from Vermeer cuz they make y'all look really good. My Vermeer 552 has been very reliable and the best machine that I own thanks to that dealership in Little Rock I really wish somebody would call Brandon and give him some recognition because he is so good

The sizes are 5/8 for the small bolt and 1 1/4 for the big bolt
